I love street shots, and in Rome you can't go wrong!
As you have seen here many times before, I take a lot of photos of what I call street scenes. It's not exactly street photography, which as I define it generally includes candid moments of passers-by, but it is street photography in the sense that it includes a street. How do you define street photography, anyway?
Well, I am diverging so let me get back on track. As I wandered in Rome, I found so many scenes like this one - you know, lovely architecture under interesting skies, leading to a church with a dome of some sort in the distance. So many churches in Rome, it's crazy. So I shot a lot of these.
This one was taken over by Piazza Navona, which is a well-known plaza in Rome and which houses the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of 4 Rivers), which is pretty much my favorite fountain, ever. Yes, I shot it, too. I'll come back with those another time. Enjoy!
